Gubyeong Village Festival
Introduction

1. Picking wild strawberries (in May)
What a fun it will be to spend time in the mountain, relishing fresh air and finding wild strawberries!
2. Collecting wild vegetables (in April)
Please come and spend a day together with your friends or family members, collecting sweet-smelling and nutritious wild vegetables.
3. The rite of paying homage to mountain god (in February)
It has been customary for rural villagers to pay homage to their guardian god once a year, praying for villagers’ health and good year for crops.
4. The buckwheat flower festival (in September/October)
The villagers gather together to enjoy the sight of buckwheat flowers in full bloom, make foods made of buckwheat and make pillows of buckwheat hulls (used to cure insomnia).
