Title Mountain accidents intensively break out in maple season~

The mountain accidents are expected to increase as more people enjoy mountain climbing in autumn.

Indeed, 30~40% of mountain accidents intensively broke out nationwide in September to November, maple season for 3 years from 2012 to 2014.

For last 3 years, 23 people died and 285 were injured in the national parks in autumn. The most common cause of death is sudden death caused by arduous mountain climbing.

Since daily temperature range is quite large in autumn, climbers should be alert to weather change during mountain climbing.

Be sure to keep extra thin clothes to control body temperature.
