Byeonsanbando is divided into Oebyeonsan Mountain along the coast and Naebyeonsan Mountain near other mountains. Oebyeonsan Mountain includes Chaeseokgang and Haesik Cave that look like tens of thousands of books stacked up together as well as a pine forest and Gosapo Beach with a large tidal flat. Naebyeonsan Mountain has more than 10 peaks that are around 400 meters tall, including Uiseongbong Peak (508m), Ongnyeobong Peak, Gwaneumbong Peak, and Sinseonbong Peak, as well as habitats for the natural monument Ilex coruta, silver magnolia trees, holly trees, Abeliophyllum distichum. There are also Naesosa Temple with a beautiful forest path and Gaeamsa Temple with Ulgeum Rock behind it. Gaeamsa Temple an ancient temple that was built around one thousand years ago, and it’s the place where Baekje had its last battle before it fell. The temple also has cultural properties such as Goryeo Dongjong and Daeung Bojeon.
