  • - English Name : Sickle Neofinetia
  • : Class I Endangered Species.CITES Appendix I. CITES Appendix II.

  • - Habitat : On the surfaces of rocks or trees in southern regions.
  • - Shape Characteristics :

    It has fan-shaped leaves that are bent like a bow.

  • - Ecological Characteristics :

    Evergreen perennial. Its flowers bloom in July. The beautiful white flowers give off a pleasant scent so they’re used for decorative purposes. This species is in urgent need of protection as its number is decreasing dramatically.

  • Neophocaena Phocaenoides   
  • - English Name : Finless Porpoise
  • : CITES Appendix I

  • - Habitat : 20~50m below the ocean. Shallow seas 5~6km from the coast.
  • - Shape Characteristics :

    It has a body length of less than 1m. It doesn’t have a dorsal fin and its pectoral fin is egg-shaped. The whole body is black.

  • - Ecological Characteristics :

    It lives alone but sometimes seen with fry. No research was on this species, and continuous monitoring is required.

  • - Feed : Crustacean, fish, squid, common octopus, and other cephalopods
